I note for your reference that Rev. / Dr. Charles Clark Stillman (06/22/1877 - 01/05/1952, buried Glen Rest Cemetery, Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio) was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Science from Ohio State University during the Spring 1948 Commencement. Rev. / Dr. C. C. Stillman is the person in honor of which Stillman Hall (recently renovated, expanded) is named on the campus of Ohio State University. Rev. / Dr. Stillman's wife, Rachel (nee, Schermerhorn) Stillman (1877 - 1940) and their children / descendants (Ezra Clark, Mary Elizabeth, Huldah, and Rachel Florence) are distant cousins of mine in the "Fourth Branch" of the Schermerhorn lineage while I am of the "Schenectady Branch" of the Schermerhorn lineage. I note that Ezra Clark Stillman (10/24/1907 - 04/12/1995 @ New York, NY) was quite an "esperanto" poet, among other things; his biography is out here on the net (use quotation marks at either end of his full name in your search engine query). Thank you for posting what you knew about these distant cousins of mine on your Stillman family web-site; I have added their update information into my Schermerhorn databases, the last information which I had for any of them was from "The Schermerhorn Genealogy and Family Chronicles", by Richard Schermerhorn, Jr. (1914, Tobias A. Wright, Publisher, New York, NY), at pages 379-380 during which time frame they were noted as living at St. Paul, MN. The author of the Schermerhorn genealogy, noted above, was also a member of the "Fourth Branch" of the Schermerhorn family.
