When the 1880 Federal Census was recorded in Chickasaw County, MS in later June 1880, twin Stillmans - one male and one female - had been newly born to George Thomas Stillman and Mary Elizabeth McKinnon Stillman. Since names were yet decided for the twins, the 1880 Federal Census Recorder agreed to appropriately list the temporary names of "Juliet" and "Romio" for each of them with the understanding that they would be soon given more formally selected names. They were named Maude Stillman and Claud Stillman as presented herein.
