Michael George le Strange Meakin worked at an advertising agency in Norwich, and corresponded with John Drake Strange III in 1964.
Michael George le Strange Meakin owned Hunstanton Park, among other properties.
Michael George le Strange Meakin first married in 1966, taking up residence in the Dairy Cottage at Hunstanton Hall in 1968 and living there for a few years. By his first marriage, Michael George le Strange Meakin had four children, two of whom were adopted. Michael's son Charles is the heir to the estate.
In 1985 Michael George le Strange married again.
When his uncle Hamon le Strange VII died in November 1993, Michael George le Strange Meakin inherited 3,500 acres.
